how'd you get it to work?

You can use the two Facebook email addresses (photos @ facebook.com and notes @ facebook, I believe) to add a picture to your Mobile Uploads gallery or a note/picture to your Notes -- I use this to save myself having to email a photo from my iPhone to a list of people

So, how did you get this to work? According to facebook.com, you can e-mail photos to that address and it will post them to your account - link - but when I do, I never get the confirmation code.

I tried e-mailing a photo from gmail (from the web site - not via a pop client) and I got this reply

Sorry, we cannot support uploads sent via email. You sent from GMail. If you are sending from a phone, it must be configured to send directly.

So, the big question is: how do I configure the iphone to send directly? Is this something gmail doesn't do? Why do I get this response e-mail when I write in from the web client, but not via the pop client on the iphone?

I don't know what to suggest to fix the problem. I have the account configured on my iPhone (a .mac / gmail-enterprise blend acct) added as an email address on my facebook account. I just tried it from the Photos app ("send via email") and it worked. I never had to do any particular setup.

As long as the email address you're sending with is confirmed on the account, it should work. I tried from my desktop and it worked there as well (same email account).

I have an iPhone and (sadly) I'm addicted to Facebook as well. I've found that if I use the iPhone version of Facebook (www.iphone.facebook.com) it works a lot better is not nearly as cluttered and loads faster. It just has the basics on there (profile, mail, friends, status, etc.) instead of all the other Facebook applications that can slow down the loading speed of the page. I'm very happy with it.

I just use the iPhone version of facebook. Its very simple and I get all my "Request" and everything. It doesn't crash because those dumb apps facebook recently added don't matter appear on peoples pages. Which I love. I honestly like the iPhone version of facebook than a computer browser version of facebook.

I dont have an iPhone, and I have never used Facebook before.... but I have to say, and I know other guys agree with me on this:

Flats donnot look good on any chick.... no matter how hot you are (or are not).

I don't think jean shorts ever look good on men, but sometimes you are just in the right environment to wear them. Heels are just silly to wear in some situations. Had to stick up for womankind for a second. :)

On another note, I LOVE the facebook website for iPhone, but does anybody know if there is any way to see what people are coming to an event on that event's page if it doesn't show up on News Feed?
