wallet cases seem to give the best protection but why aren't they popular? Are they bulky or easily damaged?
I would think it's down to the bulk. Most people who I see with smartphones have the basic bumper style cases that don't protect the screen.
I bought the slim Kavaj wallet case which is really nice leather. The only problem was the flap didn't sit flat around the back.
I have the kavaj Tokyo and it's a fantastic case. Very minimal as well. If you want more protection I've also heard that the cm4 noted above is great.
Ended up ordering this one. Reviews are really good and looks high quality. I'll post thoughts on it when it's delivered. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VN...allet+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51O7+0z1lbL&ref=plSrch
+1 for the Tokyo. I had it on my 6 and liked it so much, I got a new one for my 6S. I bought it as an alternative case but it ended up staying on my iPhone all the time. haha. But ohhh...that's nice. I like that it can hold 3 cards + that SIM pocket. And it covers the whole perimeter of the phone. And also has a decent lip. Ouch! Stop twisting my arm! Fine...I'll get one.
Just got this one in the mail and I'm very happy with it. http://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ash...let+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51O7%2B0z1lbL&ref=plSrch
