I bought a Griffin wallet case at Best Buy yesterday. I'm returning it at lunch today. Once I put my ID, phone, 2 credit cards, and $6 in singles, it was waaaaay too thick to comfortably fit in my pocket. Looks like I'll be staying with the phone and wallet separate afterall. Oh well.

Thanks lorenwade, the WaterField is exactly what I was looking for!
The fact that I could use it with a bumper is what sold me.

This one? It looks bulky to begin with. What pocket are you trying to keep it in?

How thick was it? The wallet I use now is as thick as the Iphone 2g and it's fine with me.

The original iphone is 11.6mm thick and iphones is 9.3 mm. It might be okay for me.

This one might work for me.

http://www.eholster.com/iphone-wallet-case-belt-loop.html

I have had a lot of cases for my iphone 3g and 3gs that functioned as a wallet (sena walletbook, walletskin, casemate id card...) but all of them were not able to carry all of my cards and other stuff that I usually carry in my wallet. So this case from eholster might be the one for me. I will be the first to admit that its not the nicest looking case, but I like how you do not have to use the phone with the case on unlike the ones that I have noted. It comes with either a belt clip or one with a belt loop. I think I like the belt loop one better because I might just want to stick it in my back pocket. I plan on using it with a bumper case on my iphone. Hopefully it will fit.

I liked this one too http://shop.hardgraft.com/wallets/phone-fold-wallet
but I emailed them and they said that their current cases are only designed to fit without the bumper, which was a deal breaker for me.

Oh ya, just thought i should mention I usually keep my iphone in my back pocket but whenever I am going to sit down I always take my phone out of my back pocket LOL

It would be nice if the wallet could a iphone with bumper; I actually think that the wallet seems a little big to the phone and there might be a little gap to fit the phone with bumper.

I'll try my iphone in it and if there are room for a bumper I'll try that to. I'll let you know. First Hard Graft need to have the wallet in stock and second I need to buy the iphone. I live en one of the next 18 countries to get the little - but sensitive - wonder.

TUCH wallet case from Etsy.com

someone posted the etsy.com search results for iPhone4 wallets on the 1st page of this thread... which lead me to the TuchMade seller on etsy. i really liked the wallet case he had so i bought it... super fast shipping. Came in today!

he had it in black too but i liked the natural color. he also had some iPad cases that looked really nice... but i don't have, nor want, an iPad :)

it's really well constructed and easy to slip my phone in and out of. i'm excited to see how it feels after it breaks in a little.

No problem! I ordered mine already. Make sure to change your shipping option to the $2 option specifically for the jacket. ;)

Oh dang, that looks pretty sweet!

I already got the Waterfield though (just ordered it); seemed like a tighter fit, and I think I'm gonna go with a dedicated money clip/card holder.

Hi,

I'm getting my iphone 4 in July and thinking of getting a iphone wallet, but it seems that only few companies make these things.

I found one I think looks awesome: http://shop.hardgraft.com/wallets/phone-fold-wallet

Are there any other manufacturers of wallets like this one, or can anybody remember a place where it can be bought? Its out of stock at Hard Graft.

i was looking for wallet as well... good find..

small camera case

I have the rubber case on my iPhone - it doesn't fit in ANYthing! So I found a small camera case that not only has a carabiner D ring clip for belt loops (I fish a lot) and a belt holder with a snap but it can also hold cards, earphones, the USB cord - anything I need. For 10 or 15 bucks it was well worth it! Lots of styles etc. / handy and VERY well padded!

I'm looking for a case like this one - basically a wallet case that can hold my phone and some cards/cash/Metro card when I go out, but that zips around so the stuff doesn't fall out. Basically, as much like this Cole Haan one as possible but minus the $129 price tag...has anyone seen anything like that?

IMO sleeves for the credit cards aren't good enough, they expose your cards to unwanted eyes when you answer your phone.

Sena seems to be the only one that has a cover and clasp over the credit cards (Walletskin), so thats the one i bought. It seems to be thicker overall than the other offerings but if i can eliminate carrying my wallet everyday that would make up for it.

I reviewed the Elan Passport Wallet from Griffin here (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/962331/)

Even fully loaded, it's not thick at all. It's much thinner than an actual wallet (if you've got more than a couple of cards that is...stuff a wallet with the amount of cards the average adult has and it is much thicker).

I had no problems putting it in my pocket, or taking it out. It adds far less bulk than the 3G/3GS did. Having said that, there are certainly issues with the product (the LED flash not working properly with the case on for instance) but it was the best case/wallet combo I found.

It's not a Vaja or a Piel Frama, but it's also less than half the price, so I can't really complain.

Ipocket wallet + bumper case

I just received my ipocket wallet today. I am using it with a bumpers case and it fits like a glove. It was tight at first, but after the whole day the leather stretched. I am able to place everything that I had in my old wallet along with my bumpered iPhone4.

Ps I got the old 2.0 version because I liked how it had an extra money slot. I emailed the dude Anne he said he had one left.

The original iphone is 11.6mm thick and iphones is 9.3 mm. It might be okay for me.

I bought this one today at best buy thinking I would get away from my wallet but I think I am returning it. The thickness is not so much what bothers me but what I noticed is that after my drivers license, debit card, one credit card, and three bills, it all fit really tight so pulling out a card or license was a real hassle. I took some additional pictures of it.
