suffy67 macrumors member Original poster Oct 5, 2009 #1 Hi I was at LAX in LA yesterday and I noticed my Iphone 3GS was very hot. Turned it on and got the low bat warning and now will not start up. Can not even get it to restore when connected to the mains. Any idea's??? Regards

stridemat Moderator Staff member Oct 5, 2009 #2 have you tried plugging it into your computer to see if itunes detects it?

A army91c macrumors 6502a Oct 5, 2009 #4 Try plugging into the wall if you can if not leave it plugged into your comp for a while but remember it can actually drain the battery if comp goes into sleep mode. That should take care of it.

jmann macrumors 604 Oct 5, 2009 #5 Put the iPhone into DFU or recovery mode and a do a restore in iTunes. Was the device jailbroken?
