Googling this does not bring up much, pretty much just articles not he overall feature and that is it. Anyone read anything about an update that would let us use the wide angle lens on an iPhone with FaceTime continuity in Ventura? This was literally the one feature I thought was worth updating for. I meet once a week with some friends over FaceTime that are long distance. My sitting room is not huge and just fits those of us who can meet in person in the camera view for my friend who connects in that way. If I could use the wide angle lens of my iPhone it would be perfect. Everything else connected and worked so easily until I wanted to do that and realized for some reason Apple does not less us. Not sure why, can't be a software thing. I am hoping it is something they release with an update.

To my knowledge 'desk view' is the only way to get ultra wide. Maybe enable desk view and position the phone in a way where it's facing forward? Additionally, your phone can be placed near your computer so maybe position it further away for the results you're looking for.

I will play with the desk view and see if I can make something work. I have the laptop on the other side of the room so it is as far back as it can go. I am just going to stick to using the built in MacBook Pro camera till an update comes that brings that feature. The camera itself no the M1 Max MacBook Pro is fantastic, just need that wider view
