This is really a strange one. At work I have to keep my Iphones WiFi connection off. If it connects to the WiFi at work then My computer and the person's computer next to me (both Windows based) loses it's internet connection. They are wired connections. We have to open up the Local Area Connections Status screen and if we press repair connection it restores it and it works for awhile but it will lose it's connection again shortly and we then again have to click repair connection. I have definitely traced this to my Iphone as I can turn on the WiFi and the problem occurs and upon turning off WiFi on my Iphone the computers again function as normal. We can both use our Laptops (Windows or Mac)with wireless connection and this problem doesn't occur...it just seems to be the Iphone's WiFi connection.

This is baffling. Has anyone else ever experienced this.

Thanks for any insight.

Thats exactly whats happening to me, but when i turn my iphones wifi on, my entire network drops. you're the only other person i have found with the same issue as me. i posted my own thread to also find a solution.

Probably an issue with that specific network or router.
What brand and model of routers are they using? Sounds like the router needs a software update to resolve this bug.

I agree with this. It also sounds like a configuration error on the router, specifically a DHCP configuration problem. Check the IP address of the phone causing the problem and compare to DHCP and reservation settings on the router.
