iPhone wifi problem

My iPhone says that it is connected to my home wifi, but only shows a 3G connection. If I turn it off and on again, it picks up the wifi but drips it again after a few seconds. In settings it still shows that it is connected.

This is a new replacement phone for a phone that was still within warranty - I exchanged it about 10days ago and it's never picked up the wifi.

Any suggestions?

Click the arrow to the right of the network, and forget it. Turn Wi-Fi off and on again, then try reconnecting.

Just done that. It made absolutely no difference at all.
