iPhone with Airport Extreme router?

Will the iPhone be able to logon to the network when it is in N mode? I assume not, but I have an Apple TV and it would be a PTA to change the settings every time I want to use the wireless N mode.

nope

It does not support N. you'll have to enable b/g. Or get another and bridge it as b/g while keeping your settings on your Extreme to N
