I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S22, and I like it, I've had no issues with it, however most of, if not alot of my family and friends have Iphone, causing me to have withdrawals as I am unable to do some of the things they can with their Iphones, such as FaceTime. I have had Iphone before, and didn't hate it, it's just I switched because I am a very indecisive person. There are things I don't like about the Iphone and things I don't like about the S22 or Android. I'll have to wait til September or October to switch, maybe even '24, but I'm almost certain I'll return to Iphone, anyhow, thanks for reading my rant, appreciate it. Also info and suggestions are allowed, thanks all.

You can still iMessage with your family and friends…if you have a Mac. See AirMessage.

Also, there are plenty of iOS themes (icon packs, etc) that can be applied to Android. The fact that iOS now has widgets (or rather, Apple brought them back) means you can probably get similar widgets.

Here is my Pixel 3a XL…(note, this is not my primary phone anymore).

Can't help much with Facetime, although Google probably has some app that allows video chat.

As to your indecision about Android or iPhone, of the things you do not like from each, which of those things is worse to you?

I did a year on Android (my Pixel) between the iPhone 6s+ and now my 11 Pro Max. I chose 2020 for that time period because Android seems to have matured. I wanted the Google/pure Android experience so I went with the Pixel. Android wasn't bad, but I came to learn that the thing I like about iPhone is not so much the phones themselves (although they are pretty good), but iOS. iOS for me, is still more polished than Android. And you can't get iOS without the iPhone/iPad/iDevice.

I think you can do video calls with Google Meet or WhatsApp. WhatsApp seems to be better incorporated in the app.

I had an android tablet when Apple had the Ipad 2--that was a while ago, but it seemed that there was a greater variety of apps for iOS than android. After a few frustrating years i transitioned to an iPad. I am also not too keen on large phones so I avoided the android phones.

If it’s not much for you, you can have 2 phones. I have an iPhone and android. But it can become a bit of a hassle if you travel a lot because you are carrying 2 phones.

I switch between an iphone and Android phone at times. I prefer iphone most of the time. There are launchers on Android that do a good job of mimicking IOS 16 with dynamic Island that I use at times on my S9 plus. Its a novelty but it gives a decent iphone experience on android if your are bored.
