iPhone 7(+) iPhone won't charge

Even though I kept my iPhone 7 connected the the charger all night, the battery is almost dead and I get the notification, "Unlock iPhone to use accessories".

Even though I kept my iPhone 7 connected the the charger all night, the battery is almost dead and I get the notification, "Unlock iPhone to use accessories".

Lets start with the cable and charger black, are they from Apple? One of them could be bad so do you have a spare cable or block to try? Is there lint in your lightning port preventing it from inserting all the way.

This is an Apple Lighting cable. The cable is in an excellent condition.

The cable charges the iPhone, but the iPhone would only start charging after it's unlocked.

You need to take the phone and cable/charger to the Apple store to show them.

Clean out the port - dust did this on an old iPhone I had before.... tiny amount can cause this and can be very stuck in there
