iPhone wont charge

Brand new iphone, all nice until 4th charge

Iphone shows about 40% and won't charge more than that, after beeing plugged for about 2 hours

It doesn't complete the charge @!!#@

Is there a reboot button on the phone?

A reset?

Why doesn't this charge anymore????????????????

I would leave it plugged in then do the hard reset. Follow these directions.

No offense but I never understand why people don't RTFM.

try rebooting the phone- hold sleep button until a red slider appears, slide it across the screen, let it power down, then hold the sleep button till it boots again. If there still is a problem do a restore, If it still doesn't work go to the apple store.

I did the reset.

It then showed about 70%.. (??)

I'll report back if this was successful.

It now shows 100% (is it?)
