I have 2 WIFI's and it connects to the 2nd one but when I try to connect to the first it says can not join wifi. I restarted my router and it connected then but within an hour if it disconnects it won't let me back on.

It’s a pain, but maybe do a Network Settings reset on the phone.

Or simpler first step: forget the problem network and re-add it (Setting > Wifi > Edit).

If you have access, restart the router.

I have this problem myself and this was on iOS 15. I restarted my iPhone 13 mini but this didn't fix the problem. I am upgrading the iPhone 13 mini to iOS 16 right now but it's a 4 hour download. I think that I've had this problem since the iPhone 13 mini was new. I have the same problem on my iPad mini 5.

I do not have this problem on my iPhone 7+ which is running iOS 15.7.1. I may have this problem on the 2021 MacBook Pro as well. My secondary router is strong enough so that it is a nuisance but I can live with it. I suppose that it's possible that it is a Router setting or an iPhone or iPad setting but it would be nice to get this resolved.

I have also tried deleting the WiFi entry and re-entering it.

That fixed it on my iPad. I'm downloading iOS 16 on my iPhone 13 mini and don't want to lose the 3 hour download so far so I'll do it when that's updated.

thanks.
