I'm trying to send a photo through text message but they never go through. This has happened since I upgraded to iOS 8.1, anyone have a fix for this?

If you've ever sent inappropriate content, Apple has been known to remotely disable the sending of pictures. I'm not saying this is what you did, but it's something to keep in mind.

It happens with anything I send regardless if the photo is inappropriate or not (and they're not inappropriate). I tried to send a photo of a google search and it wouldn't send.

It was reported around the time of the release of the 4S.

No, if you've at any point in the past sent the content, they can disable ALL picture sending, whether inappropriate or not.

iPhone won't send photos

So guess I have to send it through the "moments" portion of the camera roll for any pictures to send. Which is really weird.

Right, Id like to see this link as well... I have NEVER read that anywhere before .

Yep, just sent a picture via the moments tab under the photos app. Not sure why this happens or why you have to send it through the moments portion of the app and not through any of the other ones.

Jailbroken with the latest Pangu? If so, it's a known issue. The JB really isn't ready yet for normal end users; it was released without Cydia bundled so that devs could update their tweaks. The Pangu devs said they'd be releasing an updated user-friendly JB in a week or so, which will hopefully clean up bugs like this one.

This is an urban myth. Please don't continue to spread this nonsense.
