iphone won't take off apps

so i have an 3gs updated and a itunes updated, and now when i sync apps and ask the phone to remove the ones that are there it doesn't listen to my requests and doesn't remove apps.

Do you make sure to click sync after? If you are having difficulty with that. You can delete the App from the phone itself, and it will stop syncing automatically in iTunes.

i do uncheck the app and click sync. thing is i dont' want to delete them, i just dont' want to use them at the moment.

It's not deleting them from iTunes. They stay there. It just deletes it from your phone. You can sync it back at any time.
