Iphone wont update to 3.1.3

so i tried to update a jailbroken/unlocked iphone from os 3.01 to 3.1.3 and i keep getting "unknown error 1604, unknown error 2006, and unknown error 9. these errors happened when i tried to update it and restore it from recovery mode. neep help!

Is it a 3Gs?

Also if you want to update a jailbroken iPhone you have to click the Restore button in iTunes. The Update button will give you errors.

right now im stuck on the usb to itunes logo

Just hold down both buttons while counting to 10. Then release the power/sleep button while still holding the Home button, for 12 seconds. This will force restart your iPhone, just ignore what the screen does. It may take you a few trys to get it into DFU mode, but it'll get there.

i did this, and i still get the error, i tried with the original firmware, customs firmware with pwnage. I have a 3gs, is this why?
