iphone worth £342 ($488) including data usage

hi guys, sorry if already asked but would just like your thoughts on this.
in the uk O2 sell the iphone 3g on PAYG for £342 ($488) but that includes 12 months of unlimited web and wifi (that is for hotspots) which equals £120 ($171) as o2 sell the the unlimited web and wifi for £10 so that means in theory the iphone is £222 ($317)
do you guys think its worth it or do i hang out for any upcoming deals i.e reduced iphone etc or wait till the new iphone?
ive got the money now but i am willing to wait if its worth waiting for, the new iphone that is lol

I got my 16GB for £390 on PAYG from O2, with the 12 months free data. Well worth it, turns out cheaper than the contract, if you don't use LOADS of texts and minutes. Which I don't.

I would probably wait untill the new iPhone comes out. You'll be kicking yourself if you miss out on some great features in the new iPhone. If your that desperate then i guess you should get one now!
