All,

I've noticed a few threads with iPhone X and BlueTooth/AirPod issues but wanted to see if anyone was facing a very specific issue:

My hardware:

iPhone X VZW 256GB White, iOS 11.1.1
iPhone X VZW 256GB Black, iOS 11.1.1
AirPods #1 FW 3.7.2
AirPods #2 FW 3.7.2

The issue I am seeing is that on my White iPhone I will lose BT audio after making a call on the Phone app and will be unable hear audio on the Phone app in subsequent calls until I reset and repair my AirPods. The issue then repeats itself.

Music from apps like Apple Music and Spotify will work, but any attempts to use the Phone app won't output any audio via BT (Phone and Speaker work). I do not see this on my second (Black) phone.

I've tried a second pair of AirPods, including resetting and repairing, as well as a complete wipe of the phone and the issue still persists. I am bringing my phone back to Apple tomorrow for (hopefully) a replacement as I can recreate this issue on my White phone consistently.

I believe this is a hardware related bug with the BT module as I am still seeing this after a clean wipe. Is anyone else experiencing this? Wondering if this is a larger problem or if I just got "lucky"
