Hey good people,

I’ve been going back and forth between the AirPod and the Bose. I love Bose. I have a friend who works for Bose that gets me any of their products at a 50% discount. This means the Soundsports would cost me around $125. I just prefer the sound.

What do y’all think? For $125?

Be careful, there's a known latency issue with Soundsport Free when using some apps like Youtube and some Netflix. A very noticeable video/audio lag. For fit and listening to music they're great!

The Bose have the known video lag issue, and calls only happens out of the right bud. Call quality, esp. outdoors is fair at best with the Bose. Sound quality is superior to the AirPods -- not even close. The charging case is HUGE, the size of 2 AirPod cases lengthwise, and maybe 1.5x as thick.

The AirPods seem to excel at audio sync and call quality is pretty spectacular. Depending on the shape of your ears, either the AirPods will be a good fit, or ok at best. Size of the AirPods case is a marvel - you will always go everywhere with the AirPods.

Range on both are exceptional. The Bose wins out for being able to tolerate RF interference though - there are intersections in NYC where the AirPods will always start to stutter, but those same intersections always work for the Bose.
