iPhone X Animation Stuttering

Has anyone else experienced dropped frames, flickering, and/or stuttering during some animations? It begins randomly while using the phone and is quite annoying, because it affects system menus, Safari, and even 3rd party apps. A restart temporarily fixes it.

It's definitely an intermittent problem, as it's performing smoothly again after taking it off the charger this morning. I never noticed this behavior on my 7+, 8, or iPad Air 2 running iOS 11.

I agree. It just seems like further software optimization is needed for the X hardware. Hopefully, iOS 11.2 will help.

I see this behavior on my 6s. Sometimes it is super fast and smooth on iOS 11, sometimes it stutters. Haven’t noticed it on my ipp

Same here and I'm on the same beta. Maybe most of these issues are gone in beta 4.

It's easier to notice if you're able to play the video at 60fps.

That is definitely an iOS problem. I have experienced that on occasion.
