I tried to price out a maxed out iphone 7 plus jet black came out to like 969 bucks or 40.38 a month, wondering if the iphone x will actually be 1k. ATT next payments must be similar maybe 45 a month.

what is the advantage/disadvantage of ATT next plan vs. outright or apple upgrade plan? are you stuck on a 30-month co tract?

also did you switch to next plan because att stopped 2-year contract?

$999 iPhone X will be $41.63 per month for 24 months on AT&T Next. $1149 iPhone X 256GB will be $47.88 per month. Sales tax will be charged on the purchase right away in either case.

Apple's upgrade plan costs more because the price of Apple Care is bundled into the monthly cost.

There are two versions of AT&T Next: 30 month and 24 month.

With the 24 month plan, you can get a new phone every 12 months.

The only difference between Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Plan and AT&T Next 24 is that with IUP you are required to add AppleCare Plus, which adds another $199 to the total.

Both are basically interest free loans, so if you upgrade annually, you can just turn in the phone and get the new one. You always have the option of paying off the remainder and keeping the phone.
