Curious to see poll results for battery comparisons between recent Plus models. Let's try to keep this to 7 Plus/8 Plus since 2 year old devices probably have some significant battery degradation.

I know what Apple rates the battery statistics for both phones. And of course there are battery test available to read About. But I think battery usage is the most argumentative topic when it comes to both the iPhone 8 and X, because settings, usage, applications, etc, all contribute to the performance of the battery life on each phone. It's very subjective based on the user and how they use they iPhone.

Went from a 7+ to a 10 yesterday. So far, I'm noticing that my 7+ receives better results. That's probably the only thing I'll miss about it. I love that I now have a device that I can use with one hand to text without having to go back to a smaller sizes screen.

The difference in battery life isn't significant enough to where I'm going to complain, at least.

Really liking the notch. I think it's unique and Apple definitely has some room to make improvements on it.

Think I'm getting sightly less than my 7+, but it's definitely worth it. My favourite phone I've ever used - looks stunning and the screen is fantastic.

Unsure whether I'd go for a 'X Plus' in the future - it is nice to do things one handed again.

8 Plus beats it by a wide margin BUT after getting an X, it seems that the size to battery life ratio is finally a trade off I'm willing to live with. I'm always near a charger anyway. Home-Car-Work. In the rare chance I'm outside for a very long time, I'll be wishing I had my 8 Plus though.

I can't comment on the plus's battery life, but I have my iPhone X since a few days and yesterday I got my first full battery drain (100% - 5%) and got about 40 hours stand-by and around 10 hours usage. :)

10 and 40 is about what I saw. Very close to my 7+.

iPhone X is definitely NOT superior to Plus on battery life by any means, but both are good enough to make it to the end of the day (like 10 PM) with 20% battery life (7 Plus closer to 35-40%), which is good enough for me.

I’m getting 7.5-8 hours usage on the X so far. I was getting 10 hours on the 8 Plus that I had for a week. Definitely far off.

Day 2 of owning the X, same usage habits as my 7+. I'm pretty impressed so far.
