When I put my X on my wireless charger it of course beeps and shows that it’s charging. But on occasion after a short while it will start to beep repeatedly until I take it off the charger. The battery is not full and there are no notifications showing why it did this. Anyone know what this beeping signifies?

A lot of the wireless chargers from a few years ago have an audible beep. I was gifted a wireless charger that had its "beeping" mechanism removed by my coworker once he heard I got an iPhone 8+. My Anker wireless chargers (both) have no audible beep.

The older 2+ year old wireless charger - I did catch it charging, seeing phone was 100%, stopping, then initiating charging again, seeing phone was 100% then stopping - over and over. This is why my coworker opened it up and pulled the beeping mechanism off the circuit board.

My newer Anker wireless chargers don't do this.

Mine doesn't beep but I do see the LED go off and on repeatedly if the phone isn't positioned perfectly. Make sure it's perfectly centered on the mat and see if the issue goes away.

I’ll try it. My charger is a no name bamboo mat.
