AT&T is doing it already for everyone on the IPhone 8 & 8 Plus. The iPhone X is available on a BOGO deal for business customers who subscribe to U-verse or DIRECTV.

$33.34 for 30 months. So, $1002. But I suspect it’s rounded a bit so will simply be the full cost of the phone, not more. I did have to pay tax up front based on the full retail of both phones.

A BOGO for iPhone 8/8+ makes sense given the (relatively) tepid sales of the 8 line. Clearly huge numbers of people were waiting for the X.

apple does it all the time through other retailers. AT&T carrier stores are doing BOGO for the 8 and 8+ with no more Direct TV requirement

At AT&T you can buy an iPhone X and get a free iPhone 8 (or Plus too I think) but you have to add a new line. Which is the catch! Not bad deal I guess.
