I've taken a few pictures now and I can see how Apple managed to make the telephoto lens slightly brighter (f2.4 vs the f2.8 of the iPhone 7 Plus)...it has a slightly shorter focal length.
The new lens is 6mm (52mm equivalent) whereas the iPhone 7 Plus telephoto was 6.6mm (57mm equivalent).
That explains it to some extent.
However, I'm interested to see the size of the actual sensor as Apple clearly states it's 'bigger'. I'm not convinced but does anyone have that info?
