Anyone else thinks it’s not all that?

I’ve had my X for nearly 6 months now And initially I thought the camera was outstanding.

Recently, I have been looking at my pictures with more detail and upon zooming in on them, they’re actually very grainy and not very good quality at all.

Anyone recommend the best settings to be on? In case I am doing something wrong?

They are terrible compared to iPhone 5 on iOS 6 but MUCH BETTER than the XS Camera.
I guess it’s software but apple ignores us :(

Pretty much all flagship smartphones of the last couple of years take great photos...when viewing on a smallish screen.

I'm waiting for when cameras are at a standard where we can blow up prints to at least A3 size without losing any clarity...yes, I'll be patient...

Nokia Lumia 1020.

I don't remember noticing much hype around this phone
That's because it was a Windows Phone, haha.

I'm sure modern smartphones like the Pixel have the 1020 beat in some areas, but one thing you can't take away from it is its zooming capabilities and Xenon flash.

The problem with pretty all current phones, regarding lack of a real flash (please don’t mistake the little leds for a flash haha) is that they all use an electronic shutter. You can’t use a real, high speed, flash with the typical electronic shutter.
