Saw this roundup of extreme drop testing done on many popular iPhone X cases & thought why not have a thread that just had links to drop tests, either heavy duty, or more realistic scenarios, with the Brand/Model of the case.

Below video contains the following cases...
Apple (Leather)
Otterbox (Defender)
Rhinoshield (CrashGuard)
Tech21 (Flex Shock)
UAG (Monarch)
Spigen (Air Cushion)
Speck (Presidio Grip)
Pitaka (Kevlar)
LifeProof (FRE)
X-Doria (Defence Lux)
Catalyst
Griffin (Survivor Extreme)
Trianium (Protective Slim Case)

Surprised by the Apple Leather case, there's a bit of luck involved here - which edge/face the phone lands on, but at 50ft, it's pretty definitive...

I love these videos. Only thing is that these tests only drop each phone once so it's all on luck. If the angle is not great, the screen will crack. I just dropped my Pad and Quill Woodline case (all wood case with Kevlar frame) about 4 ft from the ground, onto ceramic kitchen tile. No damage and some nicks on the wood case. Landed screen down but angled so that the corner of the case "caught it." I survived a drop on a wooden case!

Not a bad idea, but these tests don’t really tell us much. The results are all over the place. Until there’s some standard method of dropping the device, you’re just randomly breaking phones.

Why does Safari have jittery playback on full screen? Firefox plays it fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Element Case has videos of their cases protecting phones thrown out a window at speed. The height and speed seem a bit more realistic.
