Hi all,

I am going to be purchasing an iPhone X in the next couple of days. However I am struggling to find case like the Apple Leather case which are lined with Microfibre.

I currently have a 7 Plus which spends some of it's life in the leather case and then when I am out and about with work I have an Otterbox case. My 7 Plus has some minor marks from being in the Otterbox and dust/sand/dirt etc getting inside.

So are there any cases people can recommend that have a complete microfibre lining like the Apple Leather Case. I've seen some that do the back but not the inside edges, like this one from Mujjo: https://www.mujjo.com/full-leather-wallet-case-for-iphone-X-olive

Thanks in advance

Carl 🙂

Almost any case will allow debris to get in. Microfiber would be the same and could actually hold dirt.

The best I have found is the Seidio Surface case which uses a soft silicone slipper around the phone and then the case and slipper fslide in the case, sealing the edges. When I remove after a couple of weeks zero dust has entered inside the case.

Pony up and get the Apple case. It fits great and offers as much protection as any of the same design. Debris can get in, but then it is a phone that's out and in use all the time. Like cars on the road, they get marks now and again. Deal with it.

Why people are so abrupt on this forum at times is beyond me?! Does it make you feel superior to tell someone on a forum to “deal with it”? Is it really necessary?

I’m fully aware that debris can and will get in. But the marks only came with use of the OtterBox case. My 7P was in the Apple Leather Case for 3.5months before I used the OtterBox. I’m a tad OCD so I checked the phone before I put it in the OtterBox. It was immaculate but one week of OtterBox use and it had a couple of minor marks on it. They have only ever gotten worse with the OtterBox. Once back in the Apple Case it stays as is.

The microfibre lining helps reduce the damage to near 0 unless you get a load of sand inside or something. So whilst I fully accept that some marks may happen. I like to reduce the chance of it happening as much as possible. My first name is Carl not Sheikh! So £1k for a phone, whilst within the realms of my ability to spend, is not pocket change to me!

Thanks. Will take a look at the Seidio.
