Who else finds it a PITA to get a full charged battery out of the X? It takes about 3 good hours to charge the phone on the stock block. Pretty ridiculous

Is everyone’s time pretty much the same to get a full charge from under 10% to ???

Fast charging? Who using it and is it worth it??

100% worth it for a fast charger!

I originally bought a wireless charger from Apple and ended up returning it because it's basically not that much faster than the brick that comes with the phone and I'm not really a big fan of leaving my phone to charge for more than it needs to (overnight)

Picked up the 29W adapter from Apple along with a USB-C to lightning cable and yea it was like $75 bucks which is honestly ridiculous, but complaining isn't getting my phone to charge in literally half the time, buying a quick charger is...lol

Most manufacturers include a quick charger these days, Apple feels they don't need to...whatever!!! My phone goes from like 20% - 100% in a little over and hour and I have piece of mind if I need to fully charge up at any point during the day. Not a fan of anything aftermarket, there are some alternatives out there if your looking to go that route.

For me, buying a MacBook is more than enough for fast charging as USB port on Mac charges my iPhone 6s Plus faster than any charger I can find near me, except iPad charger, which I did not use anyway. Not sure about iPhone ex, but it should be similar. Oh, you have a computer to play with.

I use my iPad charger most of the time. but I got the 29w block and USB-C cable for fast charging. It can top of the battery from ~0 to 100% at just over an hour.
You mean "just over two hours". Never seen an iPhone X being charged in just one hour with the 29w charger. It takes roughly two hours. And it takes about the same time with the iPad 12w charger by the way, maybe a few minutes faster with the 29w charger.

Target sells the Apple 12W USB power adapter for only $14.99. But you can get the reliable Anker 24W USB charger for $12 on Amazon. Both will charge up the IPhone way faster than the tiny 5W stock charger.

uh, no... It takes about 30 min less. like 1:20 tops from 0%... and we know no one really charges from 0%

I am using this Anker charger from Amazon, its the best value fast charger for an iphone.

Yeah, we use this multiport charger from Anker (big fan of their products):

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-10-Port-Charger-PowerPort-iPhone/dp/B00YRYKEYM

Got it on sale 2 years ago for under $30, still works great, it's been all over the US with us (we just unplug and throw it and all attached cables in a bag), daily charges multiple phones, Watches, headphones, and iPad, and it charges my X in about 1:15-:20, it hits 75-80% from 0%/shutdown in under an hour.

[edit]

Was curious about the price, wow, scored a lighting deal and it was discounted $14, no tax, Prime, so to my door for $25.99, that was a +good+ score!

Nice! Too bad I missed it. We have this 10-port charger in the living room but our ready-to-go charger (always packed for travel) is still the older 6-port model it had replaced.

Pretty much any time you see an Apple/iPhone related fire or explosion etc it was from a non apple certified charger

I see your point - but that's mostly the case with those cheap non branded chargers.

I wouldn't put Anker in the same group as those cheapo chargers. Why? Because Anker is a reputable brand, who specialise in chargers, powerbanks and charging cables, they are experts in that product portfolio.

Kind of agree! I know they really narrow it down to cheap knock offs, and Anker really isn't a cheap knock off...but I'll take my chances with my phone using Apple only products instead of saying should have, could have.
