At Best Buy has anyone tried to get the iPhone X deal where you get the trade in value for your phone and the $250 gift card? I have read about it online.... but the store won’t do it. They are saying the $250 is for the trade in....but you can trade in some iPhones for much more...so just trying to figure out what the real deal is.

At Apple you can trade in a phone for up to $375. That is it. No stacking. Most carriers trade in iPhones for up to $300. That is it. No stacking. Best Buy had (don’t know if it expired) a trade-in deal that allowed you to get a “free” $250 gift card for trading in your phone. That value was a minimum amount for your qualifying trade. It could boost you up to a total of $325, but in order to get that figure you had to trade an iPhone 7+ 256GB.

Best Buy will give me 280.00 for my 6s Plus in the form of a Gift Card. Will do that once I know for sure if I am keeping my Verizon X I bought there yesterday at full price. They matched Apple's 1149.00 price. Am on AT&T and not sure which modem I want yet.
