Hello Guys,

Has anyone encountered any similar issue with their phones not charging overnight?

So I plugged in my phone to my MAC (whose not connected to a charger) and after waking up, I came to see that the phone was already low on battery and it did not charge. Although the phone was not necessarily hot.

May be a problem with the USB port on your Mac not putting out enough power. Can you try plugging your phone directly into a wall outlet for a night?

Sometimes this happens with Mac. It might be a usb driver problem, I’m not too sure but the phone actually doesn’t get detected by the Mac and keeps disconnecting. In such situation the device will not charge.

Was there a ding sound just after inserting the cord? No ding, no charge.
