My friend's iPhone x had the issue with touch and apple replaced the display module for free. Now literally a week later the phone has that green vertical line issue on the side of the screen. Its out of warranty, but do you think Apple will cover this? Im unsure if they did something in the repair to cause the problem, but the timing is suspect for sure. Personally I always have great luck with apple support but I know others dont always have the same luck, and I want this person to get good support.
Worth dealing with best buy now that they repair iPhones? Any thoughts would be great thanks

If it’s only been a week I’d say take it back to Apple, explain your problem and let them diagnose the problem. You should have a 90 day warranty from the time they replaced the screen..

I agree with @BugeyeSTI, definitely take the iPhone back to the Apple Store that it was serviced at and explain the situation. Plus, they should be able to look and see they repaired the screen not that long ago.
