Has the iPhone X ruined your viewing experience on other displays? I now find myself scouring the ads for 4K/hdr TVs, Xbox one x’s, etc... I NEED that inky blackness now as a base for my viewing pleasure!!

I actually find myself picking up my iPhone X over my iPad Pro 10.5 sometimes, just because the display looks nicer on the iPhone X! And for the first time ever I now have a black-based wallpaper on my phone...

I've been buying OLED only phones for a few years now and just got a new iPad pro. I appreciate things about both of them. There's a consistency of color to the high quality LCD on the iPad that I love but high contrast and deep colors of the Samsung OLEDs are nice too. Kind of happy to have both honestly.

I knew the technical details about why oled was so great. But never got to experience til now.
Not sure i can ever buy another display that is not oled f my bank account
Everything sucks, especially my not old enough to replace tv. GD

I have been contemplating of getting a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to replace my iPad Pro because of the AMOLED screen. So I totally understand what the OP means.

Haha, how true is this post. It really has spoiled everything else I use now. I love LCD, but man an extremely color accurate, True Tone enabled AMOLED is pretty dang amazing y’all. I’m just blown away watching Stranger Things on it.

The inky blacks are the best, and I love Smart invert for battery life. When Apple gives us a dark mode in iOS it’ll be bonkers on battery life. This is the phone I’ve been waiting two years for!!!

The opposite for me, I find I pick up my iPhone a lot less now because of how ugly the OLED screen is. On the plus side I use my MacBook a lot more now and appreciate it more than ever for it’s perfectly balanced whites and tremendous viewing angles.

I always knew OLED would be a bad idea, I’m just glad I didn’t get sucked into buying an OLED TV! Gonna stick with LED for the foreseeable future.

I honestly can't tell that much of a difference between my X and the 7 Plus I had before it. To me, both screens look very good.
