iPhone X does not turn off lock screen

I have noticed that my phone drains battery faster today.
I noticed that it won't power off the screen when it is locked. It just stays like this for minutes, maybe more. This scares me as I'm afraid of burn-in and I have set the auto lock to 30 seconds. Why is this happening?
I have a glass protector, but I doubt it affects anything.
Anybody else have faced this issue?
