iPhone X iPhone X extreme battery drain over the last week...

Hi all,

I’m dumbfounded. I went to bed last night with the phone at 71%, and I woke up at 11%. Besides hitting snooze a couple times this morning, the phone went untouched for 8 hours and drained 60%.

My Usage screen doesn’t show anything out of the ordinary, and I haven’t had a problem with battery until last week when I noticed that it was draining much quicker than what I had become used to (have had phone since launch day).

Any tips/suggestions?
256gb, AT&T, 11.2.6. I do use Auto Brightness.

OP,
Check your battery usage stats and see if you spot any unusual app increase usage. Have you installed any new apps lately?

I had the exact same issue as you! I made a video of my iPhone X review, and talked about that issue in it. Here is the vid:

In the long run, I had to get it replaced as it was very annoying, but now I have a working X

I could say the opposite. Settings and usage is absolutely everything for Battery results.
