iPhone X fast charge vs previous iPhones

So if you fork out for the plug and usbc -> lightning cable, you can charge the new iPhones to 50% in 30 minutes but how does that compare to the fastest rate you can charge the previous iphones. I have never tried using my macbook 13 plug with a usbc -> lightning but I know that connecting it to even the low watt iPad charger you can get much faster charging.

So what is the quickest you can charge a 7+ etc
