Thanks for the reply Steve 🙂 I note that here: https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/7w2vhu/does_113_fix_double_charging_sound_for_usb_c/ (and many other places including MR) People say that a double chime is indicative of fast charge. However I don't see that happen, I only ever get a single chime?

johnyslats macrumors 68020 Aug 30, 2018 #4 Just a single chime for me too. On iOS 12 (never noticed before) I've been getting a secondary chime at 80% when fast charging is disengaged Reactions: johnalan

Steve121178 macrumors 604 Aug 30, 2018 #5 I mostly charge my iPhone X wirelessly and the only indication that it's fast charging is via the amber blinking light on the pad. To be honest, as long as it's charging I'm not too bothered what it's doing. Reactions: Newtons Apple
