Bit miffed right now, has anyone had any dealings with returning a phone bought from Apple UK and getting a replacement ? is there a waiting list? the woman on the apple support line had no idea they were short of stock of tens haha she was pretty clueless...

They cant tell me much as the after sales is closed now, so I need to wait for a call back tomorrow to let me know.

My wifi isn't working properly, keeps dropping and getting a 169 IP address. I have tried resetting networks, setting up as new, using an IPSW not set up as new from iTunes and finally beta and all are the same. Reset my router and reserved an IP address for my phone. Still drops out randomly and displays 169 as the ip . I need to turn wifi off and on and it then works and manages to get an address. I doubt its anything this end as we have a few apple, windows and android devices all working fine.

fingers crossed they have stock and the screen is decent, as this one is perfect

yep tried that too, reserved an ip for my phone as well in case something else was taking it. TBH they said on the phone id pretty much tried it all and sounds like hardware :(

I had somewhat of a similar issue, my X kept showing no internet connection with the WiFi, yet all other devices had internet access.

I restarted my Google WiFi and it has worked great since.

thanks for the replies, yeah ill try at work tomorrow.

I have a Sky Q router Sr102 I think. its been fine for all our other devices. I am hoping its something else. but I have literally tried everything I can think of. The issue is its intermittent.worked for a whole day on wifi fine, then 20 times in 2 hours. so might be ok at work!
