i finally got myself an iPhone X today!

I’m absolutely in love with it, but I shouldn’t be. Almost everything is the same, but yet so different? You know what I mean? I’m not talking about the build but the software. It’s amazing how a few new gestures can make a very familiar ui feel like an entire different OS system.. anybody else who feels the same way, or am I just rambling? Lol!

I’m surprised how heavy it feels, though. Like I’ve got two sanwitched together in my hand.

Yes, it's one of the reasons I prefer the X (over the 8/8+) after close to 10 years of iPhone ownership.

Side note: I had to reply to you for no other reason than your username :D (We're huge BB fans)

Haha thanks! A lot of people think my name is actually Tina and don’t know it’s a character from BB :D

Very impressive to move from a home button centric UI to a gesture based UI while not missing a beat.
It’s was easy for me to get used to swiping as a few years I had the Blackberry Z10 and it had the same swipe motions and no home button.

This wasn't easy to do either. Apple had the old UI nailed, so to revamp it sans a home button, in a seemless, user-friendly way, is a huge effort.

Wonder how many who dismissed it (& defected...lol) have come around, quietly, with their tail between their legs. :D

Exactly. Now they just need to add themes and everyone’s happy
