What is the color of the frame on the space grey iPhone X? Is it stainless silver like the white one or a black/grey finish like the space black Apple Watch?

No 2 models are exactly the same color. Even if it's an iPhone with the same color name, between 2 years the color is different. This X will be no different. It looks pretty grey.

For the iphone x gray model, I think the side frame finish is similar to the AppleWatch space black.
It seems there is a sense of unity with the display.

However, the back panel looks gray, not black.

But, since the back is covered with glass, it looks shiny.:)

It’s space grey. This is direct from The Apple website.

The stainless steel band that wraps around and reinforces iPhone X is a special Apple-designed alloy that’s both durable and more pure, and it polishes beautifully. For the space gray finish, we use a process called physical vapor deposition to precisely match the color of the stainless steel band to that of the glass.

Thanks for posting this. And this is actually really good news. For those who don't know, physical vapor deposition or PVD, is a process in which a thin film is applied as a protectant over the initial layer of metal to help with hardness and improve wear. So essentially it helps with scratches or scuffs.

But it's not as durable as diamond like carbon coating or DLC is, which is actually used on the space black stainless Apple Watch.
