They are offering a $100 costco cash card if you upgrade (on Verizon). Has anyone done an upgrade through Costco? I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle for the cash card, or just go to Verizon or Apple instead.

I think so, a $100 Costco cash card.

I figured it's better than nothing, unless I'm missing something elsewhere?

Oh it's financing plan not the 2 year contract

Where you
Can pay it off in full and upgrade whenever you want to whatever else

In that Case not bad!

Thought it was a traditional 2 year subsidy outright. Was gonna say for that att loyalty if you've been a long customer is dropping their pants

549 for 64 and 699 for 256

What's the hassle?

My dad got an iPhone 7 Plus last year with a $100 Costco cash card. They will send it to you. Costco is legit. No hassle at all.

It's legit- and you also get external charging brick, and 90 day return policy. I always get my new iPhones thru Costco.

I’ve done several iPhones through Costco. Two years ago they did $250 with each phone .
There are always new promos. The deal is also for existing lines on TMobile if you buy the phone outright. Each carrier has its own promos with the wireless company in Costco.

Of course it's legit. The only deal with Costco is you don't get the latest model until a few months later. And a $100 cash card IS $100. The only negative is it has to be spent at Costco so if you don't go to Costco, forget it. That said, there is all the 90 return policy that can't be beat.

I got the 6s, 7, 7s all on launch day at my Costco.

do you get a 2/3year warranty from Costco on phone like the other electronics?

No clue. You'll have to ask Costco although I'm guessing all you get is the normal 1 year warranty.

Interesting. Is there an avenue at Costco for preordering? Or are you talking about lining up at Costco on the first day and racing to the phone section?
