Hi..I have used the Belkin .. two of them installed by machine at Apple store (which I know has now been pulled from market) and now I have the Zagg...Glass screen protector.

So odd...the problem I had with the Belkin was not cracking but was that the protector bubbled under the left "ear"...its like the glue there went bad. Now, I have the Zagg...and today I noticed the exact same thing is happening???? In the exact same spot in the exact same way?

Could this have something to do with the phone itself...maybe that "ear" is a heat spot of some sort and causing the glue to fail there? So strange for this to happen to two different brands. Perhaps its from the heat of my ear when I use the phone?...but why has this not been an issue on other iphone models?

Anyone else experience this? Thoughts?

Thanks

After having plenty of name brand glass / sapphire protectors start chipping and flaking I decided to just get a cheap POS glass screen protector off eBay for my X. It was called "3X Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone X Edition" and for all of $3 including shipping I got 3 screen protectors. I figured if it didn't work out I would go back to zagg.

I was able to install the screen protector without dust or bubbles. Three months later and I'm happy to report I have had ZERO issues. It hasn't chipped, flaked or cracked. It hasn't started to bubble or anything. At this point my Zagg would have started chipping. The fit was a little off at the top of the notch bot doesn't impact my daily use. With two spare protectors in the drawer, if anything does happen i can just install another one.

At $40 for glass and $50 for sapphire (zagg price without discount / shipping) I could install a new screen protector every other week and still save money.

Couldn’t agree more, I stopped using expensive screen protectors a long time ago. I pick up the ones on Amazon two or three for like $6 that come with the install frame. Can’t go wrong

Strange. You’re phone isn’t bent in any way is it?
Not that I know of...lol...seems fine...its strange..its starts as like a curved bubble under the protector..kinda of like a crescent moon shape. The edge stays glued, but just inside of it it bubbles..then, at least with the Belkin ones, it spreads and grows. Its fine for a few weeks...then starts.

Belkin coming out with new version of Invisiglass screen protector for iPhone X on February 18
This is the one which is applied by Apple in store
Hopefully this will be better than the version they pulled from the stores recently

Could not agree more. I have never found a 40-50 dollar glass protector to do more than a 3-5 dollar glass protector.
