I had my launch day iPhone X exchanged today due to issues with GPS tracking. Having tried using both Apple Maps and Google Maps, the phone struggles with tracking me on the map.

It appears sluggish and slow to reach to changes in direction (compass is correct though); the replacement exhibits the exact same issue- I am hoping this can be fixed through a software update as all my iPhones so far have had rock solid GPS.

Here is a thread on Apple's support community on the issue: seems to not be limited to the X but also 8/8+.

Anyone else seeing this??

Are you saying that the replacement phone also has issues? My iPhone X has a rather 'jumpy' GPS - the blue dot either bounces or moves around for a few seconds before settling down - usually in the correct place but sometimes a few houses away. It seems to be OK with Waze, though.

Yes. I am talking purely about using it to navigate on foot.
