Swipe down on the control center. It's there.

I could dig an option for a number instead of a battery icon. I’m getting used to it though. This phone is all about the swiping, so it’s not a huge deal.

Yeah, I was thinking that I'd be okay with a little percentage number, but it's pretty easily accessible, so I think I'm okay.
