So last night I restored an iCloud backup for the X and all my stuff looks to be on there now, but it won't let me update to 11.1 and when I go to the iCloud backup page it says its still restoring the backup ("Restoring Media")...don't think it should take this long obviously, so would it be okay to press stop restoring?
