Found a handy comparison vid of this & next years (presumably) iPhones, & got permission by its uploader to post it here ;)

Still waiting for my work to complete MDM trials with the X (getting it on a staff plan), so can't definitively say if I'll upgrade to the + next year, until I get my X.

Price won't be an issue due to work covering much of the cost, so this 6.5", whilst VERY tempting, will need to be a practical size for me to carry (I'm willing to give up practicality of use, ie. one handed use, so long as I can carry it around without it being too bulky in my pocket etc.).

I knew Apple would be offering a larger iPhone X in 2018 even before the 5.8 iPhone X launched this year. So when I heard more rumors based on a 6.5 iPhone X launching in 2018, that's Easily going to meet my expectations. I know the price Won't be as friendly, but thats something I will accept for The larger display and other unknown added features.

What are you thinking the extra features will be in the + model next year?

Knowing Apple, they will somehow create diversity and separate the two iPhone models so they can persuade the consumer to want to purchase the larger, more expensive 6.5 iPhone X. That said, likely Camera enhancements, display differences, perhaps some other software features, and of course a much larger battery. And just another thought, but perhaps Apple Pencil support for the 6.5.

Pencil will be very interesting.

I think software definitely - landscape homescreen & tabs for Safari ect. (as it is now for + models).

Not sure what else they can do to the camera to differentiate the two, seeing as they've given the X OIS. It'll be a step backwards if they take it away from the 2018 5.8" model for the sake of only including it in the +. Then again, doing this may drop the price of the smaller model...

that video doesn't make the + size feel much better honestly. text is basically the same video is only the difference where I see it being better. But thats a trade off for chances of dropping it. The smaller X is easier to hold than the plus phones where for me ever after having them for 3 years.
I dont really think apple will give the + model more features like they did with the previous versions because they already packed in everything into the X that the plus model had. What more would it do? Dual camera's are already on the X both with stabilizing cam's built in. The ram is the same as the plus model. Only thing I can think of being more is ram in the bigger phone up to 4 but aside from that I dont see them doing much different anymore. Battery will be bigger and better but thats a given.

Even just a boost in RAM & battery may be enough for many to consider the larger screen.........even just the bigger screen will be enough.

Def game for the X plus next year; reading will be pleasurable! Trying my hardest not to get a kindle in the interim

Loving the X regardless;)

My prediction is X will have upgrades to push people to trade up. X+ will just be a bigger X.

Hope so, buddy.

I just want screen (form factor) size to be the deciding factor. But as mentioned, I'll most likely stick to the pocket-friendly 5.8" model.....I think! :D

I’d like Apple Pencil support on my phone, but only if it could somehow simultaneously stay connected to both an iPad and the phone. Those are the times I want it... when I’m working on my iPad while looking at something on my phone, and I keep trying to scroll the phone screen with the pencil in my other hand.

I am really excited about the Plus version of iPhone X and the advantages it would bring over the smaller version like landscape mode, more ppi display and longer battery life.

This video is a waste of time, all it does is blows up iPhone X screenshots to a slightly larger size. It is almost certain that a Plus model would have a different resolution based on the 414pt width of the current Plus models (the X is based on the 375pt width of the 4.7-inch models), so many interface elements would be rendered at the same size as on the X, allowing for more content to be shown. This just shows the same amount of content blown up, which is only relevant for video or for elements stretched to fit the width of the display (eg. photos on Instagram).

We know this video doesn't have any validity, I think The user is just using renders to solidify what we might see in 2018. Regardless, it is interesting nonetheless, even though it is a year out.

Sorry I missed your video.
