So the current iPhone line is 4.7 and 5.5

If you read the dimensions of iPhone X , the wide-screen area is similar to the 4.7 while being taller than 5.5 in portrait mode .

This and many reports came in earlier where 2018 will have a 5.8 with notch (current iPhone X) which is replacing 4.7 and 6.3 inch iPhone Pro (something also rumored by many rumors) as replacing the current plus size .

6.4 inch iPhone coming next year

I think they would go the other way and make the it the same size as the SE. So the X would be the larger one and the SE X would be the smaller one. 6'4 would be over kill. If they did a plus Size X how much would that cost? $1200 starting price?

Yeah agreed. They even compared them in the keynote. When comparing battery they said the X had more battery than the 7 didn’t mention the plus. I would imagine next year we’ll get an X plus that’s Note sized.

How about no hands with AR GLASSES to supplement phones 2018
No one would buy AR glasses. Correction, less than 1% of iPhone customers would ever own them.

iPhone X is replacing 4.7 inch phone, 5.5 replacement 2018?

Of course not, the 5.8 inch iPhone X is replacing the 5.5 inch iPhones 6+,7+,8+. The next phone size will be smaller and essentially be an iPhone SE replacement.
No. The iPhone X replaces 4.7". Next year will see a Plus-sized version at around 6.4". That's not only the most logical conclusion, but it's also backed by several rumors now, and as we've seen rumors are almost always accurate.

Of course there will be a X Plus next year. Look at the competitors, that's where the market is going and Apple is no different.

a shame we + users have to wait a year just to have new tech... for 1500$ lol

It’s obvious from the display width. iPhone X sounds bigger on paper but in reality they’ve just made it taller than the 4.7” to stretch out the diagonal.

Next year there will be a refreshed X and X+.

Surely this will not happen.

It would mean the cheapest iphone would be £1k.

I think the 4.7” model will stay but the plus will become an X model.

SE rumours are it will only be 4.2” so surely yue 4.7” will stay?
