Got my X yesterday and have already seen quite a few small problems with it, my ideal is 64gb silver in Australia.

1.milky white front facing camera giving me blurry photos
2.face ID extremely unreliable (front camera maybe)
3 Pink and green vertical lines running up and down screen
4.been in Apple case and already has scratches already over the casing
5. Top speaker extremely crackly
6. Flickering green dots on display

Apple won’t give me a replacement stating that my carrier needs to, however the carrier won’t have stock for another 8 weeks. Not happy

I've been using the phone for about 2 hours, and I haven't experienced any of that. I am extremely happy with my device.

Siri is hard of hearing. Hears the first word I say and that's about it. Responds appropriately though, so not sure of the issue.

I’ve had issues with carrier-purchased phones and Apple always replaced them on the spot. Has that policy changed officially? Or did the OP get a cranky CSR/genius?

Yes, you’re X was definitely dropped as a child.

Head over to the Apple Store and get it swapped out. Good luck!

Apple keeps telling me it’s my carriers responsibility and my carrier tells me it’s apples what do I do

Go to the Apple Store and don’t leave until you have a replacement. Ask for a manager. This does not sound like the usual Genius Bar stories...

It’s over the phone nearest Apple store is 120km away so I usually just mail it in as I’m 16 and can’t drive

Someone came straight to the Apple store while I was picking mine up with the same problems. He mentioned the problems very calmly, and the manager gave him a new phone a few minutes later. It was a phone that he got from his carrier at the carriers location.

Odd it’s such a big problem for you. It’s still under Apple care anyway...

OP have you or anyone else in this thread experienced background noise issues when recording a video with camera or Animoji?
