Anyone worried that the landscape keyboard on the X might be a bit difficult to use due to its height?

I liked landscape typing in messages when I used a 4.7" iPhone. Then I went to a Plus and it was too tall to use the landscape keyboard.

Found at last a pic of the keyboard in landscape, courtesy of user lancastor!

For me personally I don't think I'll use it...Don't think I've ever typed in landscape on any of my phones unless forced to do so in a game.

I'm not sure how much of an issue this will be given I personally don't usually type landscape.

It's very rare. I think this was more of a thing when iPhone screens were much smaller and didn't have predictive text or more robust autocorrect.

Why do you think height will be an issue? Should still be easy to reach each key?
The height is an issue for me on the Plus. It doesn't help either that they have extra buttons on each side and make it even trickier to reach keys in the middle.

I used landscape all the time with my last 4.7" 6S. A less compact keyboard was great for my thick fingers.
Although lately I started using Gboard a lot, on portrait. Although that requires a hand to hold the Plus and and other hand to swipe and it will be a welcome change to use Gboard with just one hand on the narrower X.

When I heard the iPhone Plus models have landscape and portrait mode, I actually thought that would be more of an advantage to having it. Then I realized, I never really ever use landscape mode on my iPhone Plus, it's just a feature that never seems to be convenient enough for me to want to rotate my phone and use two hands holding it.
