Just saw this article, explaining a very nice feature of the faceID.
You can now hide your lock screen notifications’ content, so they will only show when you look at the phone - other won’t be able to see (also works with touchid, not as convenient though):

For use cases like this, faceID sure seems more automatic and futuristic
