Does anyone have a nighttime clock app that can remove the home indicator? It is so bright on dark screens and there isn't anything I can do to remove it...

I'm no expert, but with all of this talk about burn in, I would imagine this is something you're probably going to want yo swerve on the X... surely, having a clock on your screen for all that time will just be asking for trouble..

With most night clocks they allow such a low light level that I would hope screen burn would not be too much of an issue. Valid point though.

Would be simple enough for clock app makers to move the time around the screen every minute to avoid burn-in

Has anyone found a simple clock app that removes (or dims) the home indicator? That one I have been using for years shows the BRIGHT home indicator at the bottom of the screen all night. The app hasn't been updated in years so I don't have any hope that they will update it anytime soon.

This one dims pretty good.

The Clocks: Alarm Clock, World Clock by Meanterm Inc. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-clocks-alarm-clock-world-clock/id403684793?mt=8

That's the one I am currently using. The clock itself dims nicely but the Home indicator bar at the bottom of the screen stays brightly lit while charging and in portrait mode using my stand up wireless charger on my nightstand. It will dim however if I charge it in landscape mode.

Still looking for a simple clock that will dim or remove the Home bar at the bottom while charging in portrait mode.

Thanks for the response.
